About the Master of Ceremonies
Karen Valentine is a poet and writer in Frederick, Maryland, and the current Program Chair of MWA Montgomery County Chapter. She is the author of several published journal articles, an academic article, and two short stories. Karen says that she is now on an earnest journey to get more of her creative work, particularly her poetry, published and loves the constant learning process inherent in the craft. She is also pursuing a recently developed interest in art photography. In the meantime, Karen has worked for 20 years as a technical writer-editor at the Food and Drug Administration in Silver Spring, Maryland, to keep a roof over her head.
Also at this meeting we will vote for the next slate of board members for the Montgomery County chapter. Come cast your vote!
