Remember how much we learned from each other in our large roundtable discussions last year?
If you plan to sell your writing or have it published, you might want to determine if your writing is marketable. You think the idea is valuable, interesting, or fun, but is anyone out there willing to publish it and/or pay for it? How can you improve your project to get to YES more quickly?
To answer those questions, it may help to talk it over with other writers, and that’s what the December meeting of MWA-Montgomery is all about!
Moderated by author and editor Katherine Pickett, we will join forces to discuss:
- How to determine whether your book or story idea is marketable
- How you might improve on your idea
- How to craft a 30-second elevator pitch that will help you sell it
No matter what stage of writing you are in, this is a great opportunity to support your fellow writers and learn something new.
